Voluntary Support

The choir relies heavily on voluntary support. And it takes more than singers to run a choir. So if you can help and don't want to sing, or don't have male voice, then please volunteer to help in another way.

From time to time we need people to help out with a wide variety of jobs. We could use professional management skills. We also need people to clear up a hall after a concert - and lots of other things, too:

• Fundraising (sponsorship, advertising, public funding)
• Creative skills
• Design
• Desk top publishing
• Website editing and development
• Concert and tour organisation
• Accounting/bookkeeping
• Distributing leaflets
• Putting up posters
• Arranging fund-raising events
• Cooking
• Audience management
• Ticket management
• Process Management
• Folding and stapling programmes
• Photocopying
• Sound recording and management
• PR and marketing
• Uniform alteration/dressmaking/wardrobe
• Staging crew
• Mailing list management
• Newsletter editor/producer
• Business administration

The above is far from complete but gives you an idea of the range of jobs required. Many of those jobs are already covered, but would welcome a fresh pair of hands to help. Some jobs take up a few hours a week. Some are called on rarely.
