Another eye witness said that the Englishman (whom he heard to be called Alessandro) was heard to suggest, to the two Italian gentlemen, that they do things to each other that have not occurred since the Romans left Tuscany. The incident finally passed off peacefully when the rest of the party dragged Alessandro off screaming and kicking.

The local Mafia chief intimated that he and the two gentlemen of  Verona would be following the thug to Montecatini  and would be calling upon him to give the gentlemen satisfaction. He quickly followed up by saying “But not the kind Alessandro suggested to the two gentlemen”

It is, however, thought that Alessandro may now have left the country.

What's- a-goin-ono??
